Young volunteers of Hungarian Maltese Charity Service organised a 3-day-long project on the second weekend of October for the event called “72 hours without compromise”.
Four groups were formed out of the 25 participants. All the teams had the task to plan and implement programs for children at the Maltese playgrounds of Budapest. On Sunday, the volunteer groups worked on long term plans of projects that they had the possibilty to continue in the future.
Between 10th and 12th of October all together 8000 youngsters participated in public work projects at 330 locations all around Hungary. “72 hours without compromise” was a youth volunteer atcion, set out by catholic and protestant organisations. Instituations and volunteer groups of Hungarian Maltese Charity Service were accepting youngsters for various projects at 15 different locations within the country.
